PFL Europe 3: Kylian Mbappe left in shock as Cedric Doumbe stuns Jordan Zebo with nine-second KO

Cedric Doumbe raised his stock exponentially after producing one of the fastest knockouts in European MMA history.

The Parisian kickboxing icon put on an unforgettable show on his PFL debut as he knocked out Jordan Zebo in the first nine seconds of the main event bout.

The capacity crowd at the Zenith La Villette were already electrified by Doumbe’s entrance as he came out holding a sign reading ‘Bonne Nuit Jordan’ (Good night Jordan).

Doumbe had the crowd in the palm of his hand as he led the audience chants on his way down to the smart cage and moments before the fight as well.

Zebo, who at 23 is eight years younger than his opponent, attempted to land a head kick before eating a nasty left hook. The Frenchman took another right hook on his way down, followed by a few hammer-fists.

Referee Marc Goddard stopped the fight to the delight and shock of the Parisian crowd.

PSG stars Kylian Mbappe, Lucas Hernandez, Kolo Muani and Achraf Hakimi watched on from the front row and were similarly flabbergasted by the outcome.

Doumbe, who improved his professional MMA record to 5-0, is now expected to join the PFL’s global roster.
