Swansea are, perhaps, most famous for their years in the Premier League throughout much of the course of the last decade.

The Swans subsequently smashed Sliema Wanderers in the first round by a whopping 17-0 aggregate scoreline, but were eliminated 3-0 on aggregate by Paris Saint-Germain in the second round.
In 2007/08, under the guidance of the tactically astute Roberto Martinez, Swansea won League One to earn promotion to the Championship. Martinez would later go on to manage Wigan Athletic and Everton in the Premier League and the Belgian national team.
In 2010/11, Brendan Rodgers guided Swansea City to the Premier League via the promotion play-offs, beating his former club, Reading, 4-2 in the final. Scott Sinclair scored a hat-trick for Swansea on the day and was their top scorer over the course of the season.
First Michu, then Wilfried Bony and then Andre Ayew led the line with distinction for the Swans.
However, in 2017/18, Swansea finished a lowly 18th in the Premier League and were relegated to the Championship.
Swansea have since consolidated in the second tier, finishing 10th, sixth and fourth in the ensuing three seasons.
With less than a week before the 2021/22 season started, the Jacks found their man and appointed Russell Martin as their new manager. The former MK Dons boss signed a three-year deal on August 1 after a compensation deal was agreed between Swansea and MK Dons.
Swansea City's fanbase is known as the 'Jack Army'. Their home stadium, the Liberty Stadium, has a capacity of 21,088. Their fans are known for the cry: "Who are we? Jack Army!"
