Planet Sport has picked out the best bets for this weekend’s stateside action as the NFL season rolls on.
Week Three of the NFL season is upon us and so far we’ve split our picks right down the middle with three winners and a push from seven bets.

Chargers @ Vikings: Over 54.5 points
Falcons @ Lions: Over 45.5 points

New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers

The Saints have made a solid start to the season, going 2-0 against the Panthers and Titans.
But the Titans were trash and the Panthers are 0-2 and were thrashed by the Falcons.
The Packers need to bounce back and they’re 15-7ATS on the back of a straight-up loss. The Saints are a solid ATS bet on the road but the line feels like an overreaction to form.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Minnesota Vikings

Kirk Cousins has thrown for 344 and 364 yards through Week Two. After losing 17-20 to the Bucs, a game in which they should have converted better, the Vikings lost 34-28 to the Eagles.
The over is 19-7 following a loss for Minnesota and also 12-3 for the 0-2 Chargers, who lost 36-34 at home to the Dolphins and 27-24 to the Titans in overtime.
Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions
(Sunday, September 24 - 1800 BST)
The 2-0 Falcons have been rolling on offence, beating the Carolina Panthers 24-10 and the Green Bay Packers 25-24.
This week they’ll visit the 1-1 Detroit Lions who shipped a ton of points in a 37-31 OT loss against the Seahawks.
While Detroit were the third worst defence in the league last season, they were top five on offence and we’re anticipating a fun game.
