Packers @ Raiders tips, picks and prop bets: Hosts to continue dominance against Green Bay

Both sides are looking to bounce back from defeat when the Green Bay Packers (2-2) meet the Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) on Monday Night Football (Tues 01:15am BST).

Packers @ Raiders game pick

Green Bay Packers travel to Las Vegas looking to bounce back against the Raiders after suffering a 14-point loss against the Lions to fall to 2-2.

Looking at this match in isolation, you’d expect Jordan Love to get plenty of good opportunities to throw the ball.

The reason the loss to the Lions was so lopsided was because Detroit managed to get to Love. The Raiders are averaging two sacks per game.

On the other hand, James Garoppolo is back and waiting for a real chance to shine as a Raider.

How often he elects to throw will depend on how much joy Josh Jacobs gets with the ball in his hands, and history suggests it could be a lot of joy.

He’s rushed for 166 yards so far this season, which works out to around 2.7 yards per carry, but the Packers are allowing considerably more.

For what it’s worth, the Raiders have recorded eight straight wins in this series and haven’t lost to Green Bay since 1987.

Bet: Las Vegas Raiders -2

Packers @ Raiders prop bets

It’s a big number relative to his average, but Jacobs made history when the Bills shut him down and he recorded -2 rushing yards.

As mentioned above, the Packers are allowing north of 4.5 yards per rush so if he averages the 17 carries he did against the Chargers, Steelers and Broncos, it’s achievable.

Prop: Josh Jacobs Over 74.5 rushing yards

In addition, Jacobs is going to be a go-to in the red zone, so we’ll back him to score a rushing touchdown in consecutive weeks.

Prop: Josh Jacobs to score a Touchdown

The Raiders are allowing roughly 200 passing yards per game. Love has defied expectations, but he’s still only averaging 6.8 yards per throw and a 58 per cent completion rate.

At that scale, he’ll need to complete 35 passes to surpass the total, or he’ll need to find a way to beat a Raiders defence that has silenced better players than Love so far.

Prop: Jordan Love Under 232.5 passing yards
