West Ham United has finalized the acquisition of Mexican national Edson Alvarez from Ajax, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed.
Historically the most successful team in the CONCACAF region, Mexico have qualified for 16 World Cups but have only ever reached the quarter-finals.
