Kempton racing tip (1930): Al Agaila to make it four from six on artificial

Horse racing expert Steve Jones, who runs CD Systems - Daily Bargain on Tipstrr, has shared his best bet for Kempton on Wednesday evening.

The early favourite, Jeff Koons, was a regular over 10f until beaten over the testing straight mile at Ascot last time, so he might find this sharp, flat Polytrack mile a bit quick these days.

Another one who is prominent in the market but may also be vulnerable is seven-year-old Revich, who has never won on the all-weather and who has never run within three lengths of winning an all-weather handicap.

The Charlie Johnston three-year-old, Urban Sprawl, could go well as he bids to build on his recent good run where he finished third over eight furlongs on the Chelmsford Polytrack.

The potential value elsewhere in the market very much brings in the 4yo filly, Al Agaila.

She looks a lot better on artificial surfaces than she does on turf and all three of her wins so far have come on the all-weather whilst she is yet to score on turf.

It may be significant that Al Agaila is returning from a 108-day break as her course and distance win came straight after a break of 120 days.

Since then, she has twice won higher-graded Class 2 fillies’ handicaps over 10 furlongs on the sharper Lingfield Polytrack circuit.

A standard-slow surface over eight furlongs on this track, which has a long, straight run-in, should help her finish off the race very strongly.

Suggested bet: Al Agaila to win the 19:30 at Kempton
