15:30 (Doncaster) Hyperfocus
Stamina will be key at Doncaster where heavy ground is anticipated – a factor which should play in the favour of Hyperfocus.
Tim Easterby’s charge was victorious at Ripon back in April but enjoyed little success over a busy summer campaign, with a Chester third in September the highlight.
The nine-year-old showed a bit more sparkle in the ultra-competitive Coral Trophy at York last time out, beaten four and a half lengths in fourth when returned to really testing conditions.
That kind of going is guaranteed again here, with Hyperfocus racing off his lowest rating for well over a year in the At The Races App Expert Tips Handicap.
16:05 (Doncaster) Deira Mile
Deira Mile can make a winning start for Owen Burrows in the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Nursery Handicap.
Previously trained by Charlie Johnston, Deira Mile has placed on each of his three career starts, although he was a thoroughly disappointing 1-5 favourite last time out when surrendering a lead to eventually be beaten two lengths in second.
He held an entry in Saturday’s Futurity Trophy, but this looks much more his speed.
16:37 (Doncaster) Hafeet Alain
Hafeet Alain aims for back to back wins after a success at York.
Good second at Goodwood prior and maintains a strong record tackling this trip.
Dashing Roger bounced back to better order with a wide margin win at Nottingham. Drops back in distance and is worth considering.
Metal Merchant and Zozimus hold each-way claims.
17:11 (Doncaster) Boldly
Boldly looks to be building toward a victory. Had a good third at Newcastle in latest outing and can be equally effective on the turf.
Ayr Poet maintains excellent order with a win and four placings from past five outings.
Beaten into second at Ayr when last seen and is firmly in the mix.
Wintercrack is a contender following a second at Leicester. Fairly consistent in the past few months.
