Verdict

Huddersfield Town begin a new era under Darren Moore as the former Sheffield Wednesday boss makes his Terriers debut in the dugout against Coventry.

The Yorkshire outfit said goodbye to Neil Warnock with a 2-2 draw against Stoke City last Wednesday night.

The result extended Huddersfield’s unbeaten run to three games, with the side also enjoying victories over Rotherham and West Brom in early September.

Coventry were in the midst of their own five-match unbeaten run which came to an agonising end at the hands of Cardiff last Tuesday night.

The Sky Blues lost 3-2 in Wales which also put an end to their run of four consecutive draws.

Both Coventry and Huddersfield are sitting in the bottom half of the Championship table, two and three points above the relegation zone respectively.

With the game taking place over in the West Midlands, it’s City who are slight favourites with the bookmakers.

The hosts are yet to lose on home turf this season, picking up two draws and a win so far.

Huddersfield, on the other hand, have scored six goals across their last three matches and appear in good spirits ahead of the Monday night clash.

A tight contest is on the cards in this one and our recommendation is to back a draw.

Coventry have already drawn four of their seven Championship games this season, and this latest outing could very well head in that same direction.
